Dallas–Fort Worth is a vast, diverse metroplex with a history deeper than its cowboy stereotype. Designing the DFW Poets logo was about honoring the tender inner worlds of writers while reflecting Texas’s layered cultural roots and iconic sunsets. Inspired by the warmth and introspection of the Texas sky, the two-color, block-print style logo is versatile, evocative, and built for a community-focused literary festival.
Y’all Means All! Progress Texas, a non-profit championing progressive causes, asked me to create a vibrant and inclusive graphic for their LGBTQ+ Pride merch. This project took me on a journey from classic Texan iconography to a powerful statement that celebrates everyone.
This mini circle book book expresses the fluidity, fragility, and sometimes impracticality of our emotions. It is meant to be touched, read, flipped through, and held by a ribbon for safekeeping. Hang it on a wall, put it on a shelf with other trinkets, keep it in your desk. It’s there for you when you need it.
Infographics help us digest new info because our brains respond to pictures. But there’s more to designing them than just putting a bunch of images next to words. A few tips from my B2B experience and observations in the wild detail the scenarios to help you design an infographic that’s tailored to your audience—whether it’s a flowchart, checklist, or contrasting examples!
